Slate Studio:

Slate Studio is a creative playground split into 4 main areas. Each corner is included and designed to be used for photoshoots, video shoots, office space, co-working space and as an event venue.

Our quad-space design includes:

Policies

  • No open flame.
  • No smoking or drugs are permitted.
  • Be courteous of those using the studio before and after you.
  • We share our building with another business. Please keep all volume at a respectful level during work hours.
  • Guests can move furniture around. Please be gentle and return all furniture/equipment to its original location.
  • We are happy to host micro events (15-30 guests).
  •  If any of these policies are violated during your shoot, we reserve the right to charge additional fees.

Terms & Conditions

Scheduling -  When booking Slate Studios renters are guaranteed sole access to the premises during the time reserved. For this reason we request that in the event you need to reschedule your booking you do so no later than 48 hours prior to your scheduled booking. 

 

Please note, we do not offer refunds under any circumstance. If you need to reschedule, we offer a ONE TIME rescheduling allowance which will be available for use within 1 month of original booking. If your original booking is less than 48 hours away, you will be subject to a $25 re-booking fee.

 

Property - Renter agrees to maintain the premises, furniture and all equipment within the premises in as good a condition as they were at the beginning of the term. They agree to dispose of all trash in the provided trash cans and clean up any messes that occur during their rental period. If the studio is not left in good condition (i.e. trash thrown away, props placed back in original locations, and messes cleaned up, items missing) and/or the Renter is late leaving the premises, they will be charged a $50 fee. 

 

Slate Studio Memphis may conduct video surveillance of any portion of its premises at any time, with the exception of private areas of restrooms. Video cameras will be positioned in appropriate places within and around the building and used in order to help promote the safety and security of people and property. 

 

Renter will be liable for any physical damages, legal actions, and/or loss of reputation or business opportunities that Owner may incur as a consequence of the actions of Renter or any of Renter’s guests while Renter is in control of the premises and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all legal actions which may arise from Renter’s use of the premises.

 

Liability - This agreement releases Owner from all liability relating to physical injuries and/or injury to Renter’s equipment that may occur during any future rental period agreed upon between Owner and Renter. Renter agrees to hold Owner entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
